Hey, I’m Kaden Simpson - a self-taught artist originally from Wisconsin, now based in Big Sky, Montana. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I’ve always loved to draw, and over time that love turned into something bigger - something I realized I could actually build a life around.

My work blends colorful acrylics, clean lines, and bold gold accents into a style that’s evolved into something like impressionism, but with a slight edge. I’m drawn (no pun intended) to animals, local wildlife, and landscapes - especially the kind of beauty that often gets overlooked in the rush of everyday life. If my art can help someone slow down, feel more connected to nature, or just take a breath and appreciate the world around them, I’m doing my job.

I started taking my art business seriously last year, selling at the Big Sky Farmers Market and local events. You’ll also find me at skateparks and music events selling painted snowboards and skateboards. Commissions are open, and I also create digital art - mostly using Procreate, which helped ignite my passion for art in a big way

My work often features gold, crows, and foxes - a feature I will be sure to be adding and sneaking into every one of my future paintings. The gold represents my passion for art in a way, where it physically symbolizes luxury and royalty, it’s a bit deeper than that - a crown was the very first digital artwork I’ve ever done, and it’s what really sparked my passion for art. The crow represents transformation and the beauty of life and nature - appreciating the cycle of life and nature. The fox represents the beauty of life in a more playful way. I see a lot of foxes, and they’re always playing around and being silly no matter what - so the fox is kind of the opposite of the crow where it reminds you to have some fun.

Outside of art, I’m passionate about snowboarding and being in nature. I believe the world is full of crazy, colorful beauty, and I want my art to help people see that more clearly. I’ve got big goals for the future - a studio someday, and this year I’m diving into making YouTube art videos to share more of my process and connect with people in a new way.
