This beautiful scene is a view of Big Sky’s Lone Peak at night with the Northern Lights glowing behind. This painting actually “glows” in a similar way to the actual Northern Lights where it might be hard to see at first, but once you get the right lighting, it really shines.
This artwork was completed in June 2025, with high-quality acrylic paint and oil paint markers, and was sealed with multiple layers of high-quality gloss acrylic clear coat. The snowboard it was created on is a Rossignol with just enough “core shots” to still be ridable, but is intended to be displayed.
